1. Download Cacheless Chrome
This small app named Cacheless-Chrome is based on a simple AppleScript. It disables caches via startup parameters by executing your main Chrome app with them. And voila. No more cache. And you get more SSD life.
2. Installation
After downloading Cacheless Chrome
- just drag it into your Applications folder
- and start it instead of starting Chrome
- you will need to lower your security settings with newer versions of OSX, see here

It will execute Chrome with the parameters described below (point 3.) and it will not create any icon in the dock.
(Tip: use Spotlight to run it or add it to your startup programs). Chrome has pretty good memory management so you can just leave it running after you start it cacheless. I find that I restart Chrome once every 20-25 days on my Mac.
